Petrogrip Modular Holds are constructed from the finest climbing rock available. These aren't artificial holds - they are constructed from solid pieces of granite and sandstone that have been painstakingly converted into fully functional modular holds.

Hold backs precision ground flat - but with a rough surface texture to avoid rotation. Micros have an additional fiberglass - epoxy backing. Permanently attached Stainless Steel washers won't rust even after years of outdoor use. Holds are countersunk so head of 3/8" socket bolt fits perfectly into recess. Quality rock from very specific source localities and formations - not just something we picked up. Petrogrip rock is strong and has very uniform physical properties so you can count on it.
