Hunting

 Over 4,000 acres are open to hunting, trapping and the training of dogs. With the exception of:

  • hunting of woodchucks or groundhogs is prohibited
  • dog training is only permitted Labor Day to March 31 in designated hunting areas.

Pennsylvania Game Commission rules and regulations are in effect for all activities in the park. You are sure to find deer, squirrel and turkey. Exercise EXTREME caution with firearms at all times! This is a public park, used by non-hunters throughout the hunting season.
