Hello WWW Surfers and Welcome to : Lets take a look at Applets.

In short applets have been neglected and why not when there is so much free code on the net. Javascript is much simpler and very easy to understand and quicker,while java applets you have to wait to be loaded. It seems like applets are oldhat programming,slow.

Well a bit slower they are but they do offer better graphics and page code is not seen and you have more control over configuring. Java script falls short with cut,copy and paste. Yes you have more configuring with applets and you might even learn more,but ain't that what it,s all about,getting more of a feeling of control with what your creating. On the other hand javascript does get a bit borring after a while. Ok so enough of this part , lets look at some applets in action and you be the judge. Look at the one on top of page,kinda strange but who really cares anyway. This is a banner style applet from Apycom.com. They have the largest freeware package I have seen and they are fully functional as freeware goes. I will be listing pages with Apycom,s applets in use for you to see for yourself.
