Greater Punxsutawney Area

The Greater Punxsutawney Area Machinery show is returning for it's sixth year. The show started as a spin-off of the popular Punxsutawney Sesquicentenial Machinery and Auto Exhibition of 2000. The 2005 show will be at Cook's Five Points Garage near Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. There was a new tractor pull area installed for the 2004 show and the grounds were restructured to make access more convenient.
Blacksmith demonstrations:Bill Lepley, of Cloe Fabricating Co., will host the Blacksmith Get-together. For more information call (814) 938-5770

Tractor pull: again this year, we will be having an Antique Tractor Pull. There will probably also be an AntiqueTractor pull this year .
Kiddie Pedal Tractor Pull: Saturday and Sunday at 3:00PM. Ages 3-10
Adult Pedal Tractor Pull: Saturday and Sunday at 3:00PM.
Chicken Bar-B-Que : by the Perry Township Fire Company. They will also provide the Public Address System and Water for the Steam and Engine displays.
Food Concession: electric available
Local Farm Market:
Primitive Camping available on the grounds for exhibitors and the public. A nightly campfire is planned.

Cook's Antiques at 5 Points Garage. RD.#4 Punxsutawney.
From Punxsutawney, drive Rt.36 north to Rt.536. Turn left and drive approximately 5 miles through the town of Frostburg. About 2 miles past Frostburg, turn left towards Hamilton. Approximately two miles down the road to Hamilton, Cook's Five Point Garage is on the left. There will be plenty of signs marking the event. - Registration cut-off date is August 15th, 2005 (However, registration on day of show is OK)
- Early Bird set-up starting Friday, August 26nd after 1:00PM
- Show Saturday August 27rd to Sunday August 28th, 2005
- Tractor Pull Sunday, August 28th

- Public Admission is $3 per car.
- Food Concession spots available at $100
- Flea Market spots available, 10' by 20' for $10 for duration of show.
- Free Primitive Camping for the weekend. No water or electric hook-ups.
