EMMA BARCO, currently resides outside Meadville, Pennsylvania,
where she worked as a manager for Sears, an operator for the phone company and
as bookkeeper for Wood Gravel Company. She's been retired for over a decade, but is very
active in her church and Aglow. Emma has lived in Meadville and its surrounding areas her whole life. Growing
up, she helped raise her seven siblings. After marrying Sam Barco, she moved to Union
Township where she raised her two children, Kit and Brenda. She also took in
her siblings after her mother passed away. Emma is very active in Aglow, and is on the area board where she holds the
office of Vice President of Leadership Training. With this organization, she
helps the community in fund raising and spiritual cleansing. She's also very
active in the Crawford County Care Center's Auxilary. She was recently named
Volunteer of the Year for nursing homes across Pennsylvania due to her 25+ years
of volunteering. Emma's current interests and hobbies include learning to play the organ,
gardening, studying The Bible, birdwatching and praying for the masses.
