Students often write to us in response to attending our schools. June 5, 2000 Steve, We didn't catch any fish on Sunday afternoon and decided to start for home about 3.30. We just can't thank you enough! Paul and I had a great time with your group. It was an experience that we will cherish for many years and that's exactly what I hoped for when I decided to come to Bradford. You, Chris, Carl, George, Bernie and Joe were terrific. It was obvious that our success, enjoyment and comfort were important and everyone of you gave us your very best. Paul told me on the long ride back to Indiana that there was nothing we could have done that weekend that would have been as great as the Kinzua Fly Fishing School. He also told me that he wouldn't trade the fish he caught for the new computer he's been dreaming about for the past few months. This comes from a twelve year old who has seen much of the world and can effortlessly spend entire days with our old computer. That's our testimony to your great school. Don't be surprised if you see us again.
July 11, 1997 Dear Carl and Steve: I had a wonderful time at the Kinzua Fly Fishing School. Thank you for your patience and attention. I was amazed at the amount of information packed into your three day course. The combination of classroom and field work provided an excellent balance. I left on Sunday with an exposure to all elements of fly-fishing, including casting, fly-tying and entomology. For a woman who never held a fishing rod in her life, it was a great experience. The high point of the weekend, however, was both of you. You were patient, skillful and obviously devoted to fly-fishing. Your enthusiasm and love of the sport was infectious. Your teaching and communication skills, combined with your love of fly-fishing was exceptional. Thank you for welcoming me to your school and providing such a comfortable and fun learning environment Look forward to seeing both of you next year, and in the interim, on the streams.
July 10, 1996 Dear Carl & Steve: I am writing to thank you for the wonderful experience I had with you and the Kinzua Fly Fishing School this July. The program is everything described in your literature, and more. I also think it is a great value. I learned a terrific amount from the material you developed, the classroom experience and, of course, all of our in the field practice and fishing. I thought the balance of time in all of those activities was just right. I also wanted to thank the two of you for devoting so much time to the school. You were available from the earliest part of the morning, before breakfast, into the late reaches of the evening. I am looking forward to a "five-year" reunion out west on big water!
