These rods are built by George Bay (a member of our staff who teaches rod building in our winter classes). We believe that these rods will provide a lifetime of enjoyment for the beginner or experienced fly fisherman. We offer two primary models:
1. Medium Fast Action Rod This is an G. Lommis IM6 blank built with components that should last for lifetime of the rod. 9 foot 5 wt. $189.95 rod only
We also sell an outfit for $269.95 that includes backing, an Okuma reel, a good quality floating fly line, and leader. The outfit will be put together ready to fish no additional cost.
2. Medium Action Rod This is built with components that should last for lifetime of the rod. 9 foot 5 weight. $169.95 rod only We also sell an outfit with this rod with same components as above for $239.95.
We can substitute most any blank or reel and can give you a quote on G. Loomis, Sage, St. Croix, Gatti, and other blanks. We can custom build a rod to fit your desires or needs. Just e-mail us for a quote.

Kinzua Fly Fishing School’s Systematic Approach to Fly Tying a video of 14 different flies starting with the simplest, Kinzua Hare’s Ear and ending with a Muddler Minnow. Each fly is a fly that we fish a lot and each fly adds a new technique or step. After mastering all 14 flies, you will be able to tie most trout flies. The Kinzua Fly Tying manual I has the steps and describes all 14 flies in the same order as the video. The book and video cost $13.95 and the video is $9.95 shipping included.
