Mapquest will tell you to exit RT 15 at Liberty RT 414 - Don't do it! Winding, twisting, lots of hills, fog and deer. Daytime isn't bad - you can always travel that route on your way home - but it can be very frustrating traveling to Wellsboro on it. Always feel free to call 814-367-5875 - if you inquire anywhere local for directions ask How to get to the Jemison Valley Brethren in Christ Church on Route 249 near Little Marsh - Cooper Road is less than a mile from the church.

Locate Route 15 - may soon be I 99 - that runs thru the middle of Pennsylvania from North to South - Corning ,NY will be to the north of RT 15, Williamsport, PA and Harrisburg,PA will be in about the middle of PA and Frederick, Maryland will be to the south of Route 15 thru PA

Locate Interstate 80 a little north of the middle of PA - see where on 80 that you can take I80 north to Williamsport - see where you can take Rt 15 North from that route from Williamsport. Take Rt 15 North to Tioga Exit. It is 24 miles from that exit off RT 15 to our door. At that exit you take a left and travel South on Rt 287 to Tioga and then past the Tioga Hammond Federal Dam Complex to Middlebury Center. In Middlebury Center take a right at Donna's Corner Market/Mystik Gas Station onto Rt 249 North. It is 12.3 miles to Cooper Road from that turn. You will travel thru Kenneyville, Shortsville and Little Marsh. After Little Marsh there is a marsh on the left - shortly after that there is a church on the right and a little dip in the road - slow down - Cooper Road turn is to the right just past the Lower Jemision Road. If you start up a hill with a brick house on the right you have gone to far. Go up Cooper Road 1/8 mile - it is the only house that you can see (yellow) - it is beyond the first tree row - 1st and only house that you can see on the right - black mailbox with numerals with 120 and a little garden flag - travel up to upper drive - you can't miss the glass enclosure.

From Corning, NY or Interstate 86 - Turn onto Rt 15 South - soon to be I 99 - at Painted Post, NY - go South to Lawrenceville just over PA/NY state border. The First Exit is for Lawrenceville/Cowanesque Lake - Right on RT 49 West towards Elkland/Coudersport.Travel about 25 minutes - until 3 miles past Knoxville - take a left onto Rt 249 South-there is a sign for the hospital and River Valley Country Club. Travel 3 miles - when at the top of the hill by the brick house - slow down - Cooper Road turn is to the left just down the hill past the white house on the left. If you go past a road to the right you have gone to far. Go up Cooper Road 1/8 mile - it is the only house that you can see - it is beyond the first tree row - 1st and only house (yellow) that you can see on the right - black mailbox with numerals with 120 and a little garden flag - travel up to upper drive - you can't miss the glass enclosure.

From RT 6 West - North of Wellsboro - RT 287 North splits and it is a right turn - you go across a bridge with a green metal sides - travel a few miles to Middlebury Center - just past Dandy Mart, gas, restaurant and etc Plaza. Turn left at Donna's Mystik Gas Mart onto RT 249 North. Our road is 12.3 miles up Rt 249. Travel 10 minutes to Little Marsh on RT 249 North. After the town of Little Marsh travel almost 5 miles - just past a church and then a little bridge with cement sides - and take a right on Cooper Road. If you go up a hill and there is a brick house on the right - turn around and go back down the hill past the white house on the right. Route 49 At 249 South - just past the town of Cowanesque - traveling East and 3 miles past Knoxville if travelling West turn at RT 249 South with a sign for the hospital and River Valley Country Club.
